I feel so inspired!
Every time you “try” to do something, be something, the “try” is actually messing with the state of being of “being”. Because when you’re trying, you’re stuck in the process and always “trying” to get somewhere. Trying to be better. Trying to reach your goals this time. Trying to “get there”. In this moment, we must pause and realize what we HAVE achieved.. and to realize not to get stuck “in the process”.
When you’re always thinking of trying to do better, you’re so focused on yourself NOT BEING great, that you are already setting yourself up for being less than what you are. When you’re always thinking about trying to get it right next time, you inevitably start focusing on your faults and being wrong. It’s time to drop these negative associations and allow the awareness of what IS to flow through us so we can all realize the success we already carry within us!
Sure there are those quotes that say “If you learn from defeat, then you haven’t really lost” but what is it really saying? It’s still bringing up a painful past experience and activating it in you. Activating a painful experience messes with your blissful state and lowers your frequency. And then all you think about is what you’ve lost and what you did wrong.
The 5 Minute Meditation
The best way to succeed without struggling in the process is to set aside just 5 minutes and close your eyes. Start slowing down your breathing to a rhythmic inhale and exhale. Relax and give yourself enough time to get comfortable and to envision yourself achieving your goals effortlessly and easily. I can’t tell you how many times this has been so effective. If you can’t see your goals, then might as well not achieve it right? So the first thing is to not only see your goals, but see yourself reaching them EFFORTLESSLY. See yourself in “fast-forward” movie-mode of you, going through the EFFORTLESS steps to reaching your goals. Feel the flow as you breeze through towards your goal. All you see is yourself getting closer and closer. If you don’t know what’s next, envision the BEST WAY it could possibly happen to you. Tell yourself while your eyes are closed “It was so easy.” And feel yourself filled with the joy, satisfaction, relief and gratitude of reaching your goals. Inject as much feeling into it how it feels to actually reach your goal. Feel yourself with your goal, as if right in front of you. Feel your goal with you in the same room, or space as you. Inhale your brilliant vision and feel that pleasant feeling of reaching your goal coursing through your mind and then exhale it slowly down through the very blood vessels until it reaches your feet and is anchored into the ground. Bring it into the now.
You can now open your eyes and send gratitude. Gratitude is what sets it all in motion! Repeat this as often as you like. Remember, struggle is not required to reach your goal. Struggle is totally an unnecessary process =)
